Girls XC Run Many Personal Bests Against Grand Haven

The Girl’s Cross Country team lost to Grand Haven 20-42 on Thursday, but competed well with many season and personal best times.
Allie Arnsman (19:44) finished first in the race, followed by Kaylee Scott (22:15) in 8th place with a season best time, Elise Ferguson (22:49) in 11th, Hailey Kempf (22:58) in 14th with a season best, Maddy Wolf (23:02) in 16th, Rose Meyer (23:03) with a season best and 18th place, and Celia Kingscott (23:16) in 19th place.
There were other season best times for the day, set by Grace Hargrove-Brown, Hailey Buikema, Natalie Lehmann, Ella Huff, and Lindsay Keranen. Personal records were set by Jordyn Harrington, Jaden Loyd, Emily Piper, Mariah Martinez, Brooklyn Gromko, Nicole D’Arienzo, Cece Duffy, Jayla Matecki, Ari Harrold, Katharine Lawrence, Ella McCrumb, and Alice Meloni.
The girls look forward to their next cross country meet at East Kentwood on Tuesday, September 15.
